Anyone try the 2007 Casillero del diablo's
Has anyone here tried the 2007 Casillero del diablo wines, any of them. The bottles are claiming it's one of their best years in a long time and so I'm curious to get other peoples opinions.

I have had 2 of the 2007 Casillero Del Diablo wines. The Carmenere is definately better than previous years I've had. though to be honest I really didn't taste much of a difference in the Merlot.
I have gotten one of the Cabernet Sauvignon but haven't gotten around to opening it up yet. Though I will inform you when I do.
but for me, better or not, Casillero wines are always a great purchase anyways. Good wines at a great price, what could be better lol.
So the merlot wasn't anything special, and I will definately try the Carmenere if it's so much better.
and when do you think you may try the Cabernet, I would be really interested in your opinion of it.
I figured I would throw my 2 cents into this conversation. So far the only one of the 2007s that I have had is their Chardonnay. I'm not so sure if it is better than previous years, but it is a very good wine none the less.
So, ECAdmin you try that Cab yet?
Well, I finally got around to having the Cabernet Sauvignon. I gotta say I enjoyed it quite a lot. now I haven't had another on of theirs in quite a while, so Im not entirely sure if it's better than previous years.
But it was a really good wine that I plan on buying a few more of for my collection (i mean imagine how good this one will be in a few more years mmm).
I will definitely have to buy myself one of the cabs and give it a try.
I bought myself one of them just last night and it was delicious. all these wines are really great buys.
you really can never go wrong with these Chilean wines. especially their reds, the whites are nice too but nowhere near as nice as their reds in my opinion.
