Yet another blend wine, this one though I wasn't too big on really. This blend is mainly made from Sangiovese (though 3 other varietals are in it as well) which is what really disappointed me as I love Sangiovese wines and so my hopes were quite high for this wine. The aroma of this wine was decent and enjoyable with some nice fruit smells to it with a bit of spice to it. The Taste on the other hand is were it all went downhill for me. The fruit, which was quite nice in the smell, became detrimental in the taste. It was just to over powering for me as I prefer more subtle wines. It did go fairly well with some lasagna though so it at least has that. Though just because I didn't like it doesn't mean that you wont so if you enjoy fruitier reds you might like this so give it a try, but if you prefer subtle wines Like me I don't think your missing anything.

If you would like to purchase this wine you can get it direct from the vineyard here. Remember to make sure they can ship to your state.
