Wine Pairings - Apps and Twitter Gaining Popularity

Another article I found interesting regarding technology and wine. I still can't stand twitter, but if only I had a smart phone, I would probably be using apps to select wine at the grocery store while buying dinner. :)

Maybe some of you will find this article interesting as well. Just thought I'd share.

Great find on this article, if only Ecoast wine could get featured in something like this.

As for the apps all those different ones are actually quite cool, but unfortunetally most that I've seen aren't really geared towards low budget wines.  They tend to go with best match which could be a $10 bottle or a $80 one, but still they can be quite useful as you can then try an find a comparable wine within your budget.

and ya I'm going to have to agree with you on the twitter thing ... I just dont get it, though I probably should seeing as how I run a webpage and all.

If only I had a smartphone to get these on.
